Image Sizes Help
Although SocialHANDLER will accept any image size, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn have differing display formats that will sometimes crop the images you post to suit their own website display format.
If you want to ensure that the full image is displayed correctly on all the social media platforms, you should make sure that the images comply to the at least the minimum image sizes below and, if necessary, create a separate post for each social network containing the correctly sized images.
- Facebook posts: 1200 x 630 pixels recommended / 600 x 315 pixels minimum
- Instagram posts*: 1080 x 1080 pixels (Square) / 1080 x 608 pixels (Landscape) / 1080 x 1350 (Portrait) recommended / 320 pixel width minimum
- Twitter posts: 1600 x 900 pixels recommended / 600 x 335 pixels minimum
- LinkedIn posts: 1200 x 628 pixels recommended / 200 pixel width minimum
* Note that Instagram are very particular about image ratios. If you always opt for a square image (i.e. exact same height as width) you can't go wrong. If not, you must keep your image ratio between 1.91:1 to 4:5. See the diagram below for further visual reference.
